With two spells of wind, one accompanying the rain with gales from the south west and a second spell on the following edge of the low pressure bringing even stronger westerly/north westerly gales and severe gales it's a timely reminder that this is Autumn, and the Atlantic often delivers spells of wet and stormy weather.
