@Sceptical great photos. I have to admit I’m pretty apathetic about the incoming winter. I’m in my 50s and have never experienced anything like the snow drought of the last 5 years. Even when I lived in Crail! Last measurable snowfall in my back...
One minute it's dazzling sunshine then the next you see this foreboding black wall of cloud coming over the hills giving light drizzly rain. Chilly feel to things too. Tomorrow looking totally dry at the moment.
Lunchtime was 12C, sunshine for the most part, but a nagging E wind force 5-6. Last 3 miles of bike ride were a head wind and a real slog. Some showers earlier this morning
A quick look at the fax chart for tomorrow shows a line of convergence along the coast from Dorset westwards.. Picked up by ECM .. ...more Devon/Cornwall channel facing coast could be in for a showery day. And again on Friday..
Last January's snow was excellent. The same can't be said for the digging out. Easily the deepest snow since 2010.
