Jo Farrow presents the weather forecast for the rest of the working week. It's a mixed picture with some further heavy, thundery downpours but also some warm, sunny spells to go with them.
A bit mixed this week, with a risk of thundery showers, no return to the extreme July heat but rain to watch on Friday. Heavy, even thundery showers for Scotland, N.Ireland and Cumbria to start the week. Fair and bright elsewhere with the odd shower. Temperatures in the high teens to low 20's C for most, 26 or 27C possible for SE and East Anglia with more sunshine. Next low pressure from the SW later this week bringing more widespread rain.
