A quiet start to the week with temperatures in the mid teens and fog in places. Warm in the sunshine. More showers by midweek with some heavy and thundery ones, then colder air from the north ready for the Bank Holiday weekend. Looking mostly dry and bright but a real chill once the sun goes down and the frost returns.
