Jo Farrow presents the latest weather forecast for the remainder of this week and into the weekend.
After some midweek warmth, the weekend looks cooler and fresher but still fair for most. High pressure to the south or west will help to settle the weather down right into next week. There is a band of rain for the far NW on Thursday and a low moving past on Friday which will bring blustery winds to Ireland and northern Britain for the end of the working week. Then a cold front moves through bringing Friday rain from the NW and behind that a frost for Friday night, away from the south and nippy again for Saturday night. Saturday looks fair and settled, Sunday more blustery in the north.
