The OVO Tour of Britain cycle ride starts on Sunday 2nd Sept for 8 days. The weather is looking pretty good after a rather grey start.

So no gales, storms or torrential rain in the forecast. The top temperatures will be in the mid 20sC for the end stages of the tour. There could be some cool starts, so for spectators out early to get a good view do bear that in mind. There have been some touches of frost already in the north but they are short-lived this early in September and still plenty of warmth stored up in the roads. there will still be moderate UV values in the bright sunshine.

The Lake District for stage 5 and 6 on Thursday and Friday then Nottinghamshire on Saturday 8th. The final stage on Sunday will be in London around Piccadilly, Covent Garden and Westminster.
