Video: Autumn takes hold, a blustery week

A deep low pressure near Iceland is influencing our UK weather. Bringing blustery winds, bands of rain and then a whole host of showers from the west. As it shifts just north of Scotland over the next few days there will be a cooler westerly flow for the middle of the week. If you are looking for signs of early snow, there is only tiniest hint showing for the tops of the Scottish mountains early on Wednesday in that colder flow. It's all looking mild and mobile although feeling much more autumnal now in the wind and rain. Another low heads in from the SW later on Thursday.
