Video: Low pressure inbound to bring a wet, windy end to the week and start of the weekend

The heavy and thundery showers fade from midweek with a Thursday lull for most. However, a new low pressure is approaching the UK bringing rain and blustery winds Thursday night, Friday and Saturday. The heaviest rain moves over SW Britain on Thursday night, over England and Wales into Northern Ireland by Friday morning and continues north across Scotland. Hefty showers follow, mainly in the west on a windy day. There is a yellow rain warning for Friday and a wind warning on Saturday with the strongest winds through the English Channel.
