UK weather this weekend. A cold north wind bringing snow showers but better in the south with sunshine. Low pressure brings rain and snow to end the weekend with brisk winds.

A cold weekend to come with frost and ice. A lot of sunshine on Saturday with a few more snow showers and a cold north wind. Yellow warnings for Snow and Ice: Northern Ireland, eastern England, northern Scotland and west Wales.  a dusting to several cms but scattered, coming down on northerly flow.
A cold night with a hard frost but dry. Ice risk too.

Still fine for many on Sunday before a front brings rain and hill snow to Scotland, rain and sleet to Northern Ireland by lunchtime. Still cold but without raw north wind. 

Turning wet and windy from the west during Sunday evening with the risk of snow ready for Monday morning commute. Yellow warning from the Met Office for Scotland early Monday.
