Jo Farrow: A mixed week - mildest in the south, colder further north with some snow

Low pressure is in charge this week, so outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow will move through. The snow will be restricted to Scotland the higher ground elsewhere, as milder air has arrived to replace the bitter conditions we saw last week.
