There's a whole summer of festivals to come. So if you missed Glastonbury, a look at what's coming up next
After a seemingly super Glastonbury, you may be looking for the next festival weekend. Whether that's an annual event, a first time after being inspired from your settee by the BBC's coverage, or part of your summer lifestyle. Few more days left to win yourself a new pair of Rockfish wellies.
The wellies were vital at Glastonbury this year, even though the weather was okay. The end rain for Coldplay caused havoc in the carparks. Is anyone still stuck?
This weekend is Blissfields in Hampshire. Dizzy Rascal and Everything Everything are headlining.
Be with us, home in the fields of Bliss
for another unforgettable 3 days of sun, magic, music & party
The weather looks mixed, much like this week. Temperatures up to 18 or 19C, still with strong sunshine and high pollen levels, but not the heat and humidity of earlier in the month. Cool overnight , down to 12C and feeling fresher generally. There will be some showers on Saturday and rain Sunday but lengthy dry, bright and fine spells in between. Gates open for campers on Thursday.
T in the Park 7th- 10th July Perthshire
Huge Scottish festival, still likely to attract some rain and don't go hoping for weather like that sun and heat from early June.
Organisers are stating 'Bus is Best' for festival go-ers, no footpaths, and to follow @TITPinfo for travel advice, not your Sat Nav. It will be a bit cool overnight when camping. Temperatures look to be in the mid to high teens, still with strong sunshine, when it appears.
2000 trees 7th -9th July near Cheltenham
The weather looks to be continuing in a similar theme, perhaps slightly warmer by then. Main flow off the Atlantic, bringing mixed weather with showers, spells of rain but fine, bright and sunny times too
The multi-award-winning 2000trees is a 5,000-capacity festival set in the rolling Cotswold Hills. You’ll get 3 nights camping, a friendly, intimate atmosphere ... most of all 2000trees is about the music.
More updates to come as the summer progresses.
