Central swathe of UK at risk of land gales this evening and into the first part of the night.
Gusts over land of 60 to 70mph possible, 80mph for Welsh coasts and Snowdonia
Southern Britain gusting 50mph with coastal gales

Large waves, fallen branches, disruption to travel. Difficult conditions on the roads

N.Ireland, NW Wales, NW England and S&W Scotland all look to be seeing another inch of rain on Tuesday, so over 25mm. Problems remain on the River Ouse in York and for North Yorkshire. Flood warnings are decreasing over much of Scotland, NW England and Wales to start Tuesday but we are awaiting the effects of Barneys extra rain.
