Gales, Rain & Wintry Showers, Improving For Easter
A wild night ahead, as rain and gales cross the UK from the west, slowly clearing tomorrow morning but remaining blustery with wintry showers over northern high ground and rain elsewhere before we see signs of improvement over the Easter weekend.
A wet & wild night ahead
Once this system clears to the east, more showers blow in from the north west, turning wintry over higher ground in Scotland and N Ireland and spreading into England nd Wales through the day.
Another spell of persistent rain for Wales, Ireland, N Ireland and some areas in England through Thursday wil clear to the south east during Good Friday as high pressure arrives from the south west, which is a good sign for the weekend as it'll be considerably drier and calmer, though a little chilly overnight under clearing skies.
