Yet More Snow

Yet More Snow

Another wintry scene across the UK this morning, following a very cold night with temperatures dipping away to -19c in the Midlands. More snow is falling too, with showers continuing to affect northern and eastern Scotland as well as a new batch of more organised snow moving through Southern England, South Wales and later the Midlands. Further significant accumulations are again likely today, and this coupled with ice from previous falls means that conditions for travelling are again hazardous, so please do take care if you have to travel. The snow showers will continue overnight and temperatures will again dip away well below freezing. More snow is again likely in similar places to today during Tuesday, with the risk of it becoming more widespread into Wednesday. The cold theme then continues through much of the remainder of the week... Christmas forecast Daily updates are being made to the Xmas forecast now, click here for the latest.
