Winter: Cold Start - Dry

The Netweather Winter forecast has now been issued and the expectation is that temperatures overall will be close to or slightly below the average after a cold start to the season. The highest risk of widespread snowfall is expected to be from Mid December through to early January, but with a strong La Nina expected to significantly influence the Winter, one of the headline makers as the season progresses could well be the dryness with all three months expected to have below average precipitation widely across the country.
