Let me ask what may be a silly question or one that has already been asked? Could these sunshine records result from the reduction in carbon emissions since lockdown and a rise in UV levels with the blue skies constantly overhead?

I am no expert, but I do believe that to be the case. It does certainly make sense, and long sunny periods with completely cloudless skies almost everyday for 2 months running is extremely unusual for this country.

I am actually beginning to forget what clouds look like.
