Constant very distant lightning now to the W! Now thunder...This is so beautiful - the whole western sky is lighning up. So pleased it' dark...a few beers makes it more relaxing...arcs of lightning across the disitant sky/ Watching blitzortung  at the same time in the dark is awesome..still drinking beers at neighbours and they're loving it too!

The marginal risk seems rather incongruous with your description? :/ Thanks for the forecast though!

I don't know what I got excited about tonight, the wind was calm and it was muggy earlier on now it's freezing cold and blowing from the south and now all I'm going to get is rain. Hopefully, I'm proved wrong.

Well I'm at mudeford Quay in Christchurch with a nice view out to sea, it's dark enough to see lots of lighting on the horizon, seen a couple of CG's

Reminding me of July 17th this is. Hi-res models have failed to predict the eastward shift on this. Looks like the band is feeding off the juice to the East as it is tapping into it. Another storm going wild over Chartres, just west of Paris. Looking good for those in the IOW area towards Sussex now! Hampshire + Wiltshire and parts of Somerset should do well also :)

Oh it sure is gurt lush outside right now spectacular sunset! Nevertheless my final GCSE exam tomorrow physics so mustn't keep my eyes open for too long! But hopefully tomorrow brings what we've all been hoping for!

Could this rain band intensify as it hits land?
