Yeah again going against the ensemble still at 16 days away we don't anything to worry about just yet we all know what GFS is like for its fantasy lows

Certainly needs to be watched as the met are hinting at a more unsettled period developing

It was on the mild side here overnight but soon after sunrise the wind started lifting near-freezing fog over the moors and it's been hovering around 2.5C

57% chance of snow on xmas day on the 10 day NW forecast BANKED

Netweather's Santa shaker gives us (northern England) a 15% chance http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=xmas;sess=

Looking at the temps it looks marginal for snow at this stage low of 4c high of 5c the biggest risk of rain looks to be between 18:00 and 00:00

One thing the bookies will be nervous now after they lengthened the odds on a white Christmas to 10/1 in some parts

also looking at the current models coming out as we speak it maybe worth a bet,

Aye looks like it will be a decent day today, best make the most of it before it turns rather windy at times for the rest of this week
