Forum for scratch built stations?

Its understandable that there are few places, or forums, populated by amateur weather observers / data collectors.  Is there another online forum I should look into for scratch built, and customized to more extreme weather (than an a purchased off the shelf weather station is suited for) is discussed?  If time permits I'd like to get some testing and evaluation in at very cold temperatures this winter (so I have until about mid to late March before -40 and colder isn't likely)
