The warmest day since 28th October but unusually it was almost continuous hazy sunshine with a number of sundogs and a long lasting halo.

Starting out a little higher here than last year. Sea temp is 10.1C with the March average so far of 9.7C. Last years March average was 9.1C. With the nice weather about to start and many days of unbroken sunshine to come, it's looking like a good start to sea temps in 2022.

Pleasant day yesterday, especially for pottering about in the garden.
A high of 11.8c yesterday afternoon.
Dropped to 10c at 10pm and has stayed around that temp overnight.
Now 10.2c, overcast.
Looks like some long rain spells passing through today to add to the 31mm we have had so far this month.

Morning All, overnight mist clearing, but the rain will soon be here. Overnight low of 6.1°C at: 01:42, currently 9.8°C and RH97% with a 1mph slight air movement from the SE, which will likely change shortly to come in from the S then SW.

Fog here in Portishead accompanied by rain, sometimes heavy, over the top. Odd set-up.

Distinct orangey-pink tinge to the cloud over Southampton this morning.

Absolutely piddling down..

Very wet this morning now as the Arome indicated. Another couple of hours of heavy stuff. Could see 20mm or so. Also it’s strange under the orangey glow with all that dust up there.

Certainly wont be good to take a car through the car wash until the dust has been well rinsed off, it was very colourful this morning..

Puddles of orange dust all over the patio.

Typically had the windows cleaned just as the rain started.

Sky went very orangey not long ago..

I adjusted the settings to try to replicate what I could see.

It does look like that!

Because everything was wet after the rain, it was reflecting the orange colour.. it was quite weird..

Dull and wet nearly all day. I did see a bit of orange in the sky this evening but not a lot with it being quite dull. Reached 4.2°C

Morning All, the air certainly cleared and chilled last night with an decent airfrost from an overnight low of -0.4°C at: 06:06, currently 8.8°C, RH87% and a 3mph light breeze from the WSW, with full on sunshine @*Stormforce~beka* (please note the blue stuff)!

The beach erosion showing nicely this morning under clear skies

13.8mm of rain fell through the day in showers yesterday.

Low of 3.9c at 5am
A very bright blue sky sunny start to the day.
Now 8.8c, 4mph NW wind, 1031.9 hPa

Sunshine forecast looking good for the next few days and the weekend, hope it holds.

Dry spell starting well locally!!!!!!!!

It was forecast to be clear all day let alone full most of the afternoon with rain around!
