Looking like the SE/E could (is) take a good soaking today, not the forecasted central England as per forecast just 12 hours or so ago. We'll receive some but not what is going on in the E & SE now.

A cloudy night with a little light rain during the early hours. Dry before dawn but further rain, moderate at times, moved up from the south by 0730 g.m.t and continued until mid morning before giving way to drizzle. Hill fog, thick at times from 0945 g.m.t.
