Not a sniff of any storms here - yet, just the standard medium/heavy frontal rain, has almost stopped at the moment, very light winds. Said yet, not going to happen, though rain has restarted.

Explosion of sferics near Peterborough and E Northants. Looks to be heading this way. Very light SSE winds at the surface here, sun poking through and actually feels quite muggy.

Got my eye on that one. Seems to be maintaining its intensity very well! This one will be my 2nd of the day if it makes it. Very good conditions and parameters so late on in the season!

heavy shower here, still waiting for first storm of the year, again today seems to be either too far north or too far south but we shall see....some places already having storms quite early in the day too

Just spent an hour trying to find something photogenic in the skies, but not much about in the N Somerset area currently - other than sharp showers.

Later this afternoon is starting to look pretty interesting ...

Big downpours at about 5am last night with some very loud thunder and torrential outbursts but this mostly cleared by about 6.30am some roads were affected by flooding this morning

Just seen a post on FB - snow ploughs being used in NSW to clear 40cm of hail. That's pretty impressive....
