Just back from a reccy around the North Somerset area, couldn't see much convection out there other than a few small Cu over nearbly S Wales.

Our area (Somerset) isn't really forecast anything until that system could potentially move up during Friday night into Saturday.

Looking at the satellite things are really starting to get going. A few notable cbs on satellite but lots of cumulus. Hopefully some great storms fro many over the next few hours.

When the Ashbourne cell was firing it became very breezy here, now there is no wind, the clouds are blocking the sun and the air is just sat there, it’s so muggy.

Just had 3 fat raindrops  and that was it from the black thing above us, all around the towers are going up.

Development seems to be struggling to get going here to my north west... Keep spotting bits where it tries to break through but doesn't quite make it

I think theres a cell Guildford way as well. Definitely getting that anvil type structure. Timelapse has captured it and will upload soon  it's still developing however...
