Keep an eye on the precipitation over East Anglia (say the bit  over the Sudbury area). Doesn't seem to be weakening, and perhaps a chance it might hit parts of NW  / central London.

Looks like the northern extent is weakening so no good for our parts but looks good for S/E London

Looking forward to some more left over dandruff then being too far south for a streamer.

Think you're right. Always the worry for us in this situation. Having said that, activity in last fews mins has just pepped up a bit!

Defo has pepped up on radar last few frames. Coming down in canterbury, not heavy, but pretty

Fizzled out as soon as it looks like hitting us.

The blob coming off Belgium has also started to loose ompf..

What will be will be I suppose.

Temps plummeting here now -2.9c.

Sounds like we may be luckier tomorroww!

I feel so lucky to have been in a hot spot for this event. I just measured again on the shed, flat surface, following snow for a lot of this afternoon. It is now a staggering 26cm of level snow.

In our car port area, the snow is almost up to my knees. I will measure it tomorrow but I believe it to be around 35cm. I have never seen anything like this. My mother mentioned it's the craziest she's seen since 1987.

Hi Paul, do you have a rough time of when the winds swing ENE?  I'm pinning my hopes on a Thames snow streamer tonight for my location

Some time between 11pm and 3am on some models others later hoping its earlier for you

The radar echoes from the EA/Essex area of snowfall seems to have several gaps where it goes from heavy snow to nothing without any gradation at all, almost as if in a dead zone.  What's causing this, as I can't see it actually being the case that there are small fixed areas embedded in heavy snow where it's bone dry without any tail-off into those areas?  In the screenshot they are the white patches in the leading area of green, which, on the animation, stay where they are as the green echoes pass by (like rocks in a stream).

Yep about a Cm here as well in last 30mins - 2cm per hour would be nice

Perhaps, but bear in mind that an easterly component will have a shorter sea track and therefore less moisture can be collected and then released as snow.

My winter life in a radar. Pretty much given up with this one now, next to nothing on the ground, gutted it’s been such a miserable failure here. I’d have settled for 3-5cm!

I wouldn’t give up hope. That frustrating warm front is moving south and shrinking away. Also the snow over Norfolk is now getting further south so hopefully more of Cambridgeshire should come into play in the next couple of hours.
