The first morning since this milder weather began that hasn’t started dull and wet!

Looks more pleasant the next few days as high pressure builds in.

Yeah it kinda sucks now that theres no wintry weather, and to be honest it feels like a bit of a memory now as the weathers been hovering or over double figures since a couple of weeks back. But, also, its fairly pleasant out there, and im kinda hoping for a 20 celsius during the march where i can get the old shorts n tshirt on and sip a nice beer in the garden

Much preferable to the mild, wet, windy and grey garbage of the last couple of weeks.

Temperatures drop slightly and the weather improves. There’s a surprise.

Bright, cold, crisp and frosty morning. Nice to finally see the sun and get to dry out again.

Absolutely glorious this morning here in NW Worcs. Not especially warm (8 °C) but with light winds and few clouds it's wonderful to be out. I walked down the back way to the river earlier and was out for maybe 50 minutes all told. So good not to feel wet, freezing or wind-blasted by the end!

Regarding early warmth,  I prefer 10c and sunny skies than it being 15c and cloudy.....today is typical of that...Lovely wall to wall is here

Still plenty of time for a cold snap though... but we’ll see

Another good day today, around 10 °C and plenty of sunshine, though sadly the family next door are replacing their shed so quiet pottering in the garden isn't possible. Got in a nice walk on the edge of the forest earlier, though. One more day of this tomorrow before the cloud rolls in, by the looks of it. Then March on Monday, and from then on my preference flips to warm unless we get a full-on 2013/2018 cold spell.

I'd like to agree, but the easterly in February failed to deliver (in my area), and was especially cloudy. The snowfall in January was the best of the winter here. ?️

This setup is now where this location sucks, next few days north sea mist, before Atlantic comes in next monday

It's typically got all the way to the Welsh border while NW England avoids it, didn't arrive till about 6am but refusing to shift.

Bit early in the year for this? Normally happens in late spring/early summer with a warm air/cold sea combination.

Yeah 6c and cloudy is pretty rubbish! cold but not cold enough for any snow, and very drab overhead.

Aren't you lucky  - it's dull and 4C here.

Pennines break it up there, hope we don't see this horrible setup in Summer, ruins many summer days
