Worth noting there are still showers pushing in off the North Sea. Could be some surprises over night.

Think we’re under the same ‘blob’ on the radar coz it’s light snow here

Deffo. The current shower actually almost died over Yorkshire, it passed Manchester and then exploded. Something unstable going on, hence the super heavy grauple. Just what we needed.

First meaningful shower here today in Liverpool. Got the missus moaning at my lamp post watching, obviously not cut from our 'snow' cloth.

Lol, I know that feeling

Still going. 5 mm dusting now. Snow feels like sheep’s wool, only way I can describe it.

This little feature thats cropped up over us in South mcr is ace! Been snowing for a good 45mins now. Still only a dusting at the moment, maybe 1cm tops.

Just goes to show - expect the unexpected. I would laugh if we wake up with a decent covering .

That last shower had no issue getting over the tops and intensified as it did so. There will be a gap now though for a while I think.
