You have to laugh really, the rain has has no issue making its way across the hills to south manchester all day, as soon as the temp drops & snow appears it all just fizzles out 😂.

I had to get out before the sun melted it all.

Some brilliant walking conditions this morning apart from the sheer depth of snow, almost a foot fell here last night and not a Met O warning in site. made for some good photographs though, altho

Heaviest single fall of snow for several years here and the heaviest in April since 1981.

It seems to be building on the East side ready for an assault.

Just dieing over the hills, hopefully this is not a sign to come.

The dynamics are different today and the easterly is yet to get going properly. If we’re going to get snow it’s likely to be Monday onwards. Anything before then is a bonus really.

I predict lots of impatience, moaning and gnashing of teeth in this thread tomorrow 😂😂

It tends to go quite during a proper cold spell as everyone's looking at radar/out their window,

Looking above the tail off the coast of Hull there's a few more streamers slightly to the north beginning to set up, if they can get over the Himalayas could get an event out of this yet 🙂
