I had to get out before the sun melted it all.

Some brilliant walking conditions this morning apart from the sheer depth of snow, almost a foot fell here last night and not a Met O warning in site. made for some good photographs though, altho

Heaviest single fall of snow for several years here and the heaviest in April since 1981.

Cloud base lifted briefly on the fells.  Could't see any snow up there.   Wind is picking up a bit.

Didn’t know there was such thing as a 06z GEM. 😱

Yeah like you say more and more of these charts are starting to look a bit like 96 with a band moving right over us, or close by at least. Very interesting.

The first one was t54, here's the second at t60.

Some could be under a decent streamer for several hours!

This has been modeled from about t108 if I remember rightly so I will be mighty impressed if it's correct.

Me too. We are getting more consistent signals now of a Humber streamer, heading to the south of the region on Monday, probably pushing north on Tuesday. Hopefully Kasim will give us an update later.

Them streamers just need a shift slightly north and we'll be in the money on Monday.

There will be subtle differences to shower/streamer distribution between Monday and Tuesday. See ICON 12z . Extremely subtle but try not to worry about being too far north or too far south , aside from streamers there will be general scattered showers too probably.
