Oh great, what a massive downgrade, we only have a few plants and a tree in our garden.

People with hedges - Time to get excited!

People without - A massive downgrade!

Mine is a front hedge, does that count.

You'll have to ask our resident snow/hedge expert @Chris.R

Interesting looking at those gem charts. PPN readily moving west for those in the south of the region. Note the drier spots towards the coast further north. Fairly typical of this set up.

Unfortunately all the best TV forecasters have retired.

Some of them now are truly awful, what happened to ENO by the way?

Hi @Frosty the Snowman @Beano & @Slidergate '17 I managed to sort my computer first thing.

Once I'd replaced the CMOS battery all that was required was another restart to re-set the start up settings, so all A OK.

Thanks.

Always like a happy ending mate, glad you got sorted

Some of you look like seeing snow from that low filtering south tomorrow, unfortunately here probably not quite cold enough in time.

Probably quicker to turn the house around that grow a new hedge although if the forecasters have their way and the snow all stays darn sarf it will probably have grown before it’s needed.

Logged into the mad thread, first post was somebody from Bournemouth complaining about a downgrade, posting a chart and said “BBQ anyone”.

Logged straight off the mad thread.

Taking from the far north thread (apologise I like to earwig the other ones) - no source but supposedly a meteorologist's predictions for next weeks snow spell.

Some meteorologist if they think the Blackpool Coast and the Wirral can see 5-10cms from an easterly?

Manchester appears to have moved.
Must be that strong easterly.

Yeah defo! GEFS ensembles looks pretty bullish for a breakdown later next week and turning milder by the weekend but a good snowy breakdown looks very possible. looking at the ECM clusters though it looks half and half. Cluster 2 shows heights rebuilding to our north:
