Being a bit Conservative though think there’s a chance I get more than that.

Have you defrosted your freezer lately?

Been snowing a good hour or so now. Finally sticking. So sad to see it rapidly vanishes once it has passed the foothills. Strange how the intensity just vanishes, it isn't exactly tipping it down.

GFS is an absolute Cryogenic freeze fest.  Midlands South on -16/-18 uppers.

The problem is that winter events are only remembered by the depth of snow, not the depth of cold so if the only heavy snow that falls is tomorrow’s likely 10-15cm in the SE then it’s just becomes another cold spell and nothing else.

Uppers like that are still impressive though.

Apologies. I edited an old post and added you but didn’t save it in my notes. I’ve added you onto the list.

Looking good for where I am tonight so hopefully i'll be waking up to a good few cm of snowfall covering by the early morning  in contrast to Thursday's pleasant day when it felt warm enough to be out around the hills wearing a fleece jumper. For now only Woodhead is closed with Buxton, Dove Holes, and parts of Glossop reporting snow but that'll soon change in the next hour.

Mini blizzard at moment.  Wind really gusting and creaking roof.  Lots of snow trying to settle.

Think im going to call it a night, love the positivity in here even after all the let downs recently, I feel like I've had the sinking feeling since last week. I just can't see anything getting over the hills. Keep the positve vibes, I will check in tommorow again ha can't keep me away.
