Bloody hell mate that is a depressing forecast.

Ours isn’t much better and I’m half expecting further downgrades of tomorrow’s snow but you’ll be on a hose pipe ban by Thursday at this rate.

I've ridiculed the Met and BBC apps in recent posts. Tomorrow the BBC show rain all day turning to sleet in the evening. Met Office cloudy and no rain...

Trying not to take notice of the apps, although BBC gives me snow Thursday night right through to Saturday morning which is nice

It's the calm before the (hopefully) snow storm. Regardless, it's going to get cold anyway. I was outside at work today and it felt really quite nice in the sun - it always makes it hard to believe how quickly it can change - to go from this mild-ish feeling few days to struggling to get above freezing. I'm excited anyway just to see how it pans out.

I was out on the bike today, and it was quite nice, not too cold, though the wind was a bit fresh. I was reminded of back in 2018, when I was out on the bike over the weekend just before the cold/snow arrived; having gone back and looked at the weather/ photos, it was sunny, blue skies, and approx 5-8c. Yet 36 hours later, Cold.

I just watched the weather trending video on Facebook with John Hammond and Sara Thornton and that is 53 mins I will never get back. Usually John and Sara work well together and yes I know its a zoom call but it clear Sara has started the drink too early(and to be fair look like John was drinking also) as her constant interruptions over John was bordering on the ridiculas. Also the constant will it snow in my area was getting tiresome(think John was getting a bit fed up answering those questions especially will it snow in Heathrow question).

It's not worth watching sadly, always look forward too hearing the views from John but this was a big let down especially as this is serious weather potentially but sadly ruined largely by Sara's interuptions.

Oh and no mention of the NW by large apart from John saying it will be dry out west which to some extent will be the case but don't take his word as gospel on that.

I did, provided a good laugh! As it happened. It was kinda like that with Sara's butting in constantly!

At some point, there's going to be a huge dumping across the board. The Meto update seems to hint at that possibility.

The easterly flow is an upgrade too throughout. Colder and more unstable.

Looks far too marginal for my liking. -12C wind chill just doesn't cut the mustard either
