beautiful sunny day here now after the rain earlier.Thats the price you pay for leaving near the beach,you need colder uppers or offshore wind to get decent snow.

Still you cant beat living near the sea in the spring and summer.

Well we have had snow of varying intensity That has now stopped. About 4cm of snow

Disastrous here lol had twenty minutes of on off trying to snow and now nothing for over half hour & the radar showing me as under the band. Third non-event of the Winter so far for me, don't know how much more I can take!

just got back from a lovely walk in the snow, everyone seems so much happier in the snow!! 
 

I hope it was as widespread as possible! 
probably got up to 10cm or more which is lovely!

A few fine flakes floating around here now. Better than nowt, just a question of how much further north this gets as to how long or how heavy it will get.

We must have had about 5cm in Brent Cross which is more than I expected so close to London!

After mostly rain turning sleety here now (Salehurst,  East Sussex). T down from 3.3C to 2.2C. DP down to 1.1C from 1.8c peak.

Very true! Said earlier that given the parameters on offer today there was no surprise at a rain event on the Sussex coast.

However, after I had posted some of the heavier rain turned briefly to snow then back again after 5 minutes!

Stopped in South Croydon and melting quickly. A cm at best. Was nice whilst it lasted and at least gave the first covering in a couple of years.

I think we should change the competition from the snow Cup to the snowless Cup I guarantee it will be somewhere between your location and mine that sees nothing last although we just had a bit of sleet here not just plain rain

Yep, it's a radar of lies! I should be getting something, but there is nothing falling from the sky at all.

I was starting to think that maybe the back end of it will slightly turn to snow for us in Kent but nothing major, what you have just said is a good sign

Radars been dreadful only showed snow yet weve only had rain and sleet alternating here!
