I am getting excited at my chances for tomorrow as I view all the snowy posts in here today. Will be keeping all spare fingers and toes crossed for this...

Sky has cleared slightly in Lynn, but greying up to the W, where there has been reported snow. Looking forward to it!

Looking north and missed by a few miles. And fully expect to be cursing tomorrow looking south.

I feel your pain and will be in the same boat.

If we can get to Spring and go 36 months without settling snow am sure we can get up towards 45 months with ease.

When the Meto said snow would be rare I didnt think they had started the clock already lol

For what it’s worth (which is very little), snow has been massively upgraded for me in Bromley on MetO app, now showing pretty much all day. I know it will change but that’s the most sure it’s been at anytime in this

I can see massive cumulonimbus clouds to my east, which is probably the snow line near Cambridge.

I’m also recording a timelapse of it. If the file isn’t too big then I might post it in here later!

Heavy snow showers here in Cambridge this afternoon. Was beautiful, easily the best of the season so far!❄️

The Cheshire gap storms have maintained quite an impressive structure

Lets see how they fare down the corridor of death to ppn - otherwise known as the M40

Best of the winter in Cambridge - it lasted only 20 minutes - but left 1-2cms on some surfaces. Really tanked it down for a short while there. Melting now but maybe a suprise tomorrow and then eyes out for Feb. If it snows next month then it would have done in every winter month here, albeit leaving a combined 3cms so far

This lot seems to be staying in tact and moving in the right direction:

Just been looking at that. Timing for this could be good if holds together.

Those two showers would appear to be headed towards London Town, or Success City as Train Guy calls it.

First bit should be hitting the Chilterns in the next half hour - if it can survive past there could be fun. Looks like all snow as well

How good would it be to get an evening dusting out of this that will then last until the morning and then (potentially) gets topped up
