Maybe elevation a factor re Madrid as it is 2200 ft asl?

Yep that'll be a big factor plus they have a more continental climate than us and it is hundreds of miles in land so less mixing of the air from the milder sea from the Med or Atlantic also this is unlike what we have from the Irish and North sea as the farthest you can get from the sea here is only 70 miles.

Think everyone’s lost their will to live after the last few disappointments. It is a lot better than this mornings run.

This it more like it, ecm. slight relaxation of cold as it builds out East no more marginal crud when we get the next easterly!

I don't like it as much as the para, but it has a similar theme.

It has changed a lot since this mornings 216.. even putting the 12 hour difference to one side... enough to draw me into viewing 216 this evening at least.

I have seen models flip within 2-3 runs, so just relax and chill ya nuggets. It's SSW-time! Don't put alot in thrust into models and politicians

Nothing is carved in stone, yet, neither mild or cold...

Same developments across all models. Different on details, but general trends are similar, which is very encouraging.
Far from negative for cold. Better than previously I'd say, when there was no low in North America and that Russian High.
