Hi all, I’m been busy (work) so I haven’t been around to see what’s going on, had a dusting yesterday evening into the night but it was a little disappointing really, I was expected more but hey ho like I said all can change as little as 12 hrs regarding the forecast and that’s what’s happened in my eyes

Loads of time in seeing the models changing for the better, Looking and watching as I can see things changing ....

Overall this outgoing cold spell have been pretty Dire, 1 hard frost a couple of very brief snow showers just not in the correct spot this time.

Hoping for better to come in next few weeks.

Least it's chilly tonight. The hard frost we had wednesday produced more of a covering than any snow we had.

Just did my last 4am drive into Birmingham for work this week.

Despite temperatures hovering between 0 and 2c, it was the easiest commute of the week.

Nothing to scrape or brush off the car, just jump in and go.

No ice on the roads to worry about, (apart from my street which is usually last to thaw out).

Areas of light rain and drizzle in the murk.

It was suddenly all so familiar again.

What happened to the coldest night of winter? It's barely below freezing! I had plans for a nice frosty walk today in the fields but it looks damp and horrible.

Not very wintry, snow all gone from here, no frost, another spell that goes out with a whimper, not snow dumping then mild

That was 2 nights ago here in Northants.

Today is freezing fog, at 8am the canal was clear, it now has a skin of ice which has appeared in the last 2 hours.

So today had lots of freezing fog and the ground was fairly solid in places with ice and remnants of snow, but that didn't stop the extreme mud in woods and some badly drained fields. Temp was around -1c rising to 1c this afternoon. Plenty of people out walking too. Shame there wasn't the brilliant sunshine forecast!

This is still in this flower box on our patio now. Less than there was in it yesterday though.

Still quite a bit of snow around by Weston Road near Kingston Hill! not just snowmen/piled up either, where as here 3 miles to the south, all thawed except for big snow rollers etc

Potential for a snow event on some of the models for Thursday night. Further east you are the better. But still quite some time away and could disappear altogether

Think it’s disappeared but maybe come back ??‍♂️❄️❄️❄️

Yes saw that wether it come off or not is another thing.

Things seem to be getting interesting.

Makes lockdown more Bareable still able to ride the model rollercoaster with all the theme parks closed..

Some will do very well if this verified.
