Harmonie  6z  much better

Along with the NMM

Could be anything at the moment

Is that for the whole of the midlands or just the west mids?!

6z NMM still decent. Its 11am is bang on currently. If that means anything.

The NMM is great   keeps the band on a more easterly path   and keeps the main band over the midlands    with the second band to follow   Edit  its a barnstormer

Lucky you - it's a rather mild -2.3c in the fog down here at 11am    Time for my daily exercise, I think!

Just radar & window watching is the key, forget the guess work.

NMM looks great   but  away from high ground  200metres ish  not alot of laying snow.  of course that could change

Doesn’t the NMM use GFS data, which shows similar? Snow falling onto frozen ground and melting seems strange.

I think the the parallel might have this one in terms of accumulations!!think the higher resolution is picking up on the smaller accumulations better than the op?!!

The only thing i can see  is that during the period of precipitation  the Dew Points are between 1 and 0   i hate to use the word  but marginal  seems to be the issue

The Icon keeps Dps at -1 to 0   for the west at least

Met office sticking their necks out once again. If you don't live above the oxygen line (8000m) youll just get a wintry mix at best. Only the top of everest will get a dusting or the top 3 in the himalayas
