Would be great if it did.Lots of falling snow today, but didn't settle for long.Fingers crossed for later tonight\tomorrow.

Yes it disappeared quite quickly, although before it went dark the hills around Belper still looked white. My fingers are tightly crossed for some more of it.

Damm 10 to 15cm widely across the Midlands. Looking at the system it has liecster as the sweet spot. Met now says snow all morning and all day snow here. Radar looks bang on but a tad earlier than predicted. Cant believe it went further North rare as a hens teeth. Let's be having some proper snow guys.

Met for here, a good 12 hours of snow, but its an app so could be better or not so good. But its looking good at the moment and upgrades so near to the event is great.

Maybe a bit more snow mon eve/night

as some have already mentioned ??

Yeah even the BBC mentioned that. If we get all this, could be another decent little cold spell before milder air comes in later on Tuesday.

Not sure about all getting a pasting but 3-5cms widely if it doesn't revert back to being further south. With  the area around the pivot and also in the heaviest a long while should be in the 5-10 bracket.

Slightly mixed feelings for once... on the plus side, it looks like at least many of us in the region will get a treat. On the minus side, I have a big food order scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, and if they cancel it due to snow I'll be living on canned food for a bit!

For me personally, ideal would be a thin covering here (enough to look nice) then any heavy stuff being out east of here, in the areas which have been a bit starved so far.

Recent years thats classed as a pasting lol. 5cm is actually really significant.
