Temperature has just got below freezing now. Dewpoint of -1c. Anything that falls should be snow ❄️

We're still in the game on the 12z Arome.  We shall see.

Be great if the pivot happens a bit sooner/further west...

Any ideas from anyone of the precip over Ireland will pep up over the Irish Sea? It’s got some heavy bits in it, but it’s a bit patchy...

Yep, EURO4 one of the best 12z model runs for our region.  I know I said I wouldn't look at model output anymore, I had to make an exception for this, very acceptable output;

Let's all watch the radar and fly the flag of the Euro4!

It is meant to intensify over the Irish Sea I think.

Glad you looked! (I ‘liked’ your advice about not looking too!). It’s not the whole region, but given that we’re not in a very cold spell at the moment that’s pretty good!

Nice! The EURO4 is usually stingy for snow amounts too.

Alarm set.

15z UKV also similiar, "bolstering" the snowfall intensity quite a bit compared to previous output.  All to play for, for large parts of the West Country.  Will definitely be an interesting 24 hours or so, although the downside being an early Sunday morning alarm call may be required.

Early night 100%. Staying up is the road to ruin.

Fairly large clustered showers are forming just behind the main (fragmented) band in Ireland. Cant be a bad thing! Nearly everything is showing up as snow away from the coasts...
