A band of rain sleet or snow likely to lush down from north around Wed night or Thursday I would think......wintry showers following.....up to then chance of some sleet or snow showers in eastern Leinster could give s dusting / light covering in places

Given this last week's disappointment,  I would expect rain!

What's your thinking for mid month side by side 144hr it's better than ukmo wont take much for it to be more like gfs plus this reversal should slow westerlies down greicland high lows cutting under slow mid month big snow events?

I know the UK Met Office don't always get it right, but according to them there will be a milder period before colder weather returns.Hopefully we'll all get to see some snow before any milder push.

Sliders everything is snail pace end of next weekend after Northerly 3rd time lucky it could be. #pockethigh

Given the ahem "rubbish" we have seen within the northerlies this week I remain on the fence lol, although someone mentioned earlier in the model thread (I know) that the Meto are keeping an eye on an Icelandic low this Saturday bringing potential disruptive snow.... anyway we shall see
