Interesting to hear the other local totals!  I just measured 17cm in the back garden and 20cm on the South Inch, level

There is about 30cm up the hill according to my folks and my brother is now braving the road to try to get home to Coupar Angus

Braemar snow depth is now over 2 feet beating the previous unofficial record set 20 years ago.

Finally got a dusting here! Nice to see as it will probably remain here for a couple of days. A couple of showers going through Stirling finally decided to reach here. Any idea why now? More of a flat easterly flow?

Gotta say there's a whole load of snow showers still to come in which makes a mockery of the 9pm end time for amber warning. This capture is with infrared imagery to really show what's still out there over the North Sea.

FAO god almighty, but he's having way too much fun with the Edinburgh snowshield he put up for the best part of this last 18 hours

There's some hints of convergence in the Forth, notably that it's moving due west while the band just to the northeast is heading southwestwards. 

Another shower here, I was having a beer in the igloo we built and thought it was a bit graupel-y sounding but deposited a fresh half cm in 5 minutes or so.

Best shower of the day here! Silent, vertical flakes and laying down a decent cover in no time! Overall looking at 17cm level and bigger drifts. Not bad considering the lack of snow today!

Oh my, 21 pages of posts since last logging in. I think Easterlies have strong r with Scottish Regional posts. Great Effort, and easily the best selection of pictures and videos around to represent things.
