15cm or so overnight ( since 5pm ) and 17cm including snow from previous night!

Just a light covering top up here.  Will be playing school catch up today after yesterday’s snow day.  Seems a lot of snow still to come for southern/central  areas then a few ice days to enjoy it..  dipped my toe into the model thread and it appears the end of the cold spell is nigh.  I’m just going to enjoy it whilst it lasts

Couldnt find a ruler so had to use a stick then measure. 20 cms so about same or even slightly more than the 2018 Beast though there was far more drifting that time.

 

edit. News just saud -18C last night for Ballater so a new low and lower than for some time I think

Morning campers, what a pretty white cold morning, beats last week hands down. At home have about 12cm of snaw, at office maybe 4cm.

Tropical Teesdale got down to -3.6C, so thirty eighth air frost. Got 4cm of snow - we are at the end of the shower train in the western Borders. Pretty.

Sitting around 10cm here looks to have come from overnight. Nae bad for southside who are not in Amber warning... Yet

Level depth varies by location due the wind so hard to get a fully accurate measure but driveway was 14cm! Drift at the back door a quite fantastic 35cm!
