just had a wee peak , oh my !!!! Drifts about a third up people’s door , snow level with the bottom of cars

I’d say 5-6pm last night when things turned

potentially we have that still to go

Maby those totals weren’t ludicrous after all

A small addition in the city more in the form of graupel than snow but nice to see ,having checked the met charts I hope they are having a bad run sadly the GFS isn't a good 0z either, will see if the polar low for Thursday Friday is still there or gone

Anyone give me an update for fife for the next hour or so? Downside to being a home carer is the huge amount of guilt you feel when you can’t drive in snow

I think you are right in the firing line next few hours. Looks like 2 lines, one through Fife into the m8, and one south of Edinburgh to north Lanarkshire

Looks like the convergence line has shifted slightly south so the shower activity in the central belt will be a little further south than last night along that line

Thank you. I’m not going to risk it. The sky is so white it’s light outside and it’s currently very heavy snow.

A good shout, there's reds on the radar near Fife and even green/yellow here was producing whiteout conditions.
