same here but it could be snowing till late morning tomorrow.

Awesome should have a good few cms for a snow day if we avoid a mild sector

The upper air dynamics are getting cold but it depends how much the SE flow later in the night affects temperature. I might get a bit wetter snow or sleet. But you could still be in all snow tomorrow morning.

Just to depress me further, checked out the Aberdeenshire snow gate webcams and two out of three are closed. Only the Cairn o’Mount gate is still open though I suspect that may change by morning.

Varied between light snow and sleet here this evening with just a slight covering on the road. Not too surprised that there has been sleet as the temp has gone above 1C  but a little surprised that all the precipitation here had been light so far.

so weird raining seriously heavily and roads covered in snow

Could 2021 be weirder than 2020

If rain lies as snow now I'm all for it

It is due to be heavier overnight but hard to tell, the front could fizzle out quicker and we could see some mixing as the wind veers but cautiously optimistic will wake to 4 or 5 cm which will be great having been so starved of snow recently. Was out with one of the kids playing football diving about in it till 10.30..... Great fun diving in the snow... Gonna be sore tomorrow

Same icy mix here that we've had for much of the day really! An Amber warning resigned to history along with all the other failed frontal events here. Hey ho. Great to see some others, @edo especially, getting a shot

Pishy mcpish her in the West, just a typical gloomfest. Kind glad it's washed the remaining slushy crap away.

Haha @CatchMyDriftI like it.... The humour not the slush.... Same here with regards to the snizzle/snow continues but no real depth change

Cheers @101_Northfor letting me borrow some of your snow
