Proper snow in LS20, not the vicious Pellets of ice we have had for the past two days!

Sorry guys. My mums still in a really bad way. I just wanted to post to quickly say tonight in my opinin is being underestimated. The trend today has been to keep the front as all snow

Around 50cm has fallen across the highest parts of the North York Moors yesterday. Went for a walk this morning at Newgate Bank. Around 30cm of fresh powdery snow underfoot and quite difficult to

Last one from me, great day...just stopped now so 11 hours of snow 👍👏👏 Hope those that missed out get some soon 🤞👍

I'm afraid with the wind not being a true easterly all the way to the middle of Yorkshire is causing the issue. Need a true easterly 🙃

The showers are just too scattered and the height of the shower clouds are not high enough.

Last throw of the dice might be tonight into tomorrow, uppers will be -2 colder (-12) and showers expected to pep up tomorrow afternoon. This might just tip the pendulum in our favour..

New here but been reading in here and the mad mod thread for years I have tried to learn the basics so the beast has not delivered like 2010 showers died in land but the  last one seems to have beefed up in land so close to a streamer can it happen and  we have had some decent falls in Yorkshire this winter up to now

Seems to be heading South of me, more likely to hit Whaley Bridge and New Mills.
