I'm watching that cluster of showers off the east Yorkshire coast organise themselves, as they look like they're heading in this direction.

Heaviest it's been so far and most prolonged! Starting to cover the melted patches from Wednesday's fall now. Praying that big old mass to the northeast hits us too!

Even snowing in sea level Doncaster, big flakes and settling, T=1.7 C and Td=0, so marginal, a lot showing on the radar but not sure it will stay as now here.

It as stopped here now but a more organized band to the NE of here should give a good covering.

Nice snowfall here in NW Leeds. 2.5cm fluffy snow, everything covered again.

Hope that was just the starter!

I'm a bit alarmed that I may be just too far south for that main blob to the northeast having been just north of the heaviest stuff so far. Need it to expand on the southern edge! Met office going for heavy snow all afternoon so that's the kiss of death!

Snowing heavily at my location in Barnsley.  Everything white over after less than 5 minutes, and I’m still only on the edge of the snow band.  Could get upto 5cm out of this today if this were to continue!
