I was just going to post I liked the look of that wrap around too - it could even create a stall for some time giving larger accumulations.

I think it will be rain or sleet to avoid any disappointment lol. The amount of letdowns recently means I won't be excited until I see some white bits falling from the sky

They turn ours off at night but we had outside floodlights installed for the garden so that'll do.

One thing I’ve noticed about the system on Sunday is that while there is disagreement from the models on the north/south alignment one thing they seem to agree on is that it moves through pretty quickly

The latest UKMO fax show the low pressure bumping into the cold air and sliding across south wales this looks good for more prolonged snowfall.

That shows precipitation intensity, the chart I’ve posted shows that 3-5cm of snowfall would accumulate if nothing else was considered
