A cloudy cold start after a very cold night

Yesterday's cloud cleared after sunset and the first half of the night was chilly with clear periods. Cloud increased again after midnight and lowered to give hill fog and intermittent light drizzle by early morning.  No change since then, hill fog and intermittent light drizzle.

Clear spells for a time last evening, cloud increased towards midnight, a little light rain through the early hours. Cloudy this morning.

Light rain and drizzle until early afternoon then dry and cloudy for a while before the cloud broke and dispersed from 1430 g.m.t to allow a few late sunny intervals.
