Recommended Posts

I was just about able to see some of the few strikes showing in the channel near me on that map which as they were at night. The rest nit too far from me were all during the day which meant I couldn’t see them from here.

Was just about to say I saw some sferics appear over Kent. @Xanderp009 confirms that.

Heavy shower just going though here.

I was apprehensive about uploading more pictures of clouds but luckily I caught this isolated CG.  Not showing on blitzortung.

Is that a CG or a tornado that’s picked up a load of white dust? :oldlaugh:

Couple of rumbles here after what I think was some whale's mouth structure passed directly over. Heavy rain now. Not seen any lightning as mostly staring at computer hoping power does not go off - am in the middle of a huge file back up job.

EDIT: strikes in local area, distant but huge crack of thunder that made the house/windows creak here. Storm is picking up somewhat over Manningtree area by the looks of lightningmaps.org

nothing on radar was very muffled but loud and clear (wasn't raining for one and definitly didn't last long enough to be a plane)

Thunder in Dover, I do hope that whole line isn't coming over though.

Massive system building over Warwick/Rugby area, as sunshine has broken through big time. The front edge is dropping some very interesting low cloud formations.

Storm eased off now. Wasn’t much, but was still more than I was expecting today. Thought I just saw a bit of rotation a minute ago too but not sure

Still, the Cone has at least become less silent in the last week or so
