That has to be one of the most depressing runs i have ever seen in terms of how it snows everywhere around me but not in leicester

Or up the road in Derby!!.Annoying isnt it.Everything forecast for the coming week looks set to pass either east or west of us.

Abit confused on what is showing on the models re Wednesday Thursday. Just seen beebs weather forecast and they had the low slap bang in the middle of the west Midlands but some saying the low could be further south and be a mainly se event? Anyone want to comment?

bbc the odd one out, GFS, EC and other models have it mainly M4 southwards, lingering there for 3 days

To be fair they did say that it could end up a little north or south so they weren't sure. But as always coventry will miss out no matter what!

Yep every chart I have seen with upcoming snow has Burton bang in the middle of snowless zone. Gotta laugh. Look at tiny green dot.  Although this has a tiny chance of happening in first place. If cold sticks around gotta see a flake at some time. Maybe tonight maybe later this week or next here's hoping..

Temp has been 1.3c for hours now.

Any thoughts on the Cheshire gap streamer setting up tonight? Looks like it’s getting closer on the radar

I’d say it’s melted more than I was expecting, still a fair bit about though

Here in my area of S-O-T not much has meted at all.  Car windows have the snow slumped down, but the bottom half of them still have snow over.  Road outside still has a slush layer.  No visible grass leaves sticking up out of the lawn.

Pavements are going to be murderous ice rinks come morning.

Aside from the ice rink on pavements and roads the slight freeze thaw should help the snow stay around better after tonight
