Not holding out a lot of hope now for down here; for today or tomorrow now (looks like your classic m4 south event and we’ve been there countless times before where it moves increasingly south with model outputs) but I’m still pleased we got a good accumulation yesterday if nothing else! Hope you lot further north and east get some snow before it turns back to rain.

Here we go decent light snow now. Hopefully no problems settling as grass is frozen. Can't believe Met O thought this would be rain.

Yes with this one milder air moving in from NE behind the trough

Here in Hinckley we missed out on the snow yesterday and it doesn't look great for this batch! We always seem to be on the edge of a band and then it fizzles out. Get fed up of hearing about other people's snow! Lol

Hopeful for a bit of a top-up a bit later, we hardly lost any snow yesterday as you can see from the back garden. Does feel as though it is slightly more risky today, think altitude will be key.

Here’s a question; how does everyone live so high up compare to me? I feel like I’m in the Mariana Trench here at 100m elevation. Have you all got stilts

Same I swear I'm the only one below 100M on this forum.

Reading the reports from further north, it does seem that it’s dragging milder air from the North Sea. Snow to rain for a few so far this morning.

The North Sea just can’t cut it unless it’s a true easterly/north easterly.

If it gets here I think it will be snow. Further west ironically is less marginal. Obviously any elevation helps

Moderate snow now. Settling nicely on top of yesterday’s snow.

Looks to be dying a death on the radar as it travels West. By the time it gets here it won't amount to much. Ironically the Sun is out now.
